Homeopathy Tips for 12/30/08 A New Years Resolution

I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas. Now it’s time to think about the New Year.  This is the 52nd Homeopathy Tips Newsletter and marks the end of the first year and beginning of the second year of the newsletter. I have learned alot in sharing Homeopathy with you.  Probably the most important lesson has been discipline.

Publishing the newsletter has really helped me to stay focused on a commitment I have made. It has never been a chore and is getting better and better as more of you respond with your comments. I so enjoy them.

As the new year arrives it is a good time to reflect back  and to look forward. All of us want the next year to be better than the last. Often we try to accomplish this with a new years resolution. If any part of your resolution is to be a better homeopath, here are a few tips to help you in your studies.

  • Make your goals realistic and visualize them making you very happy. For example, see yourself with great confidence finding the perfect remedy for your client and having them report to you how great they are feeling.
  • Study Materia Medica daily. There is rarely a day that goes by that I do not look into a book and read a little. Find  some time to open the books and open your mind to study a remedy , whether it is new or familiar. Amazingly that information will start to stick if you keep at it. It will come back to you when you least expect it. You will find you know more than you thought.
  •  Play with homeopathy. When watching movies pick different characters and look for indications of what’s asking to be healed for them. Take their case and find the rubrics and remedy for them. It’s good practice.
  • Talk more with others about homeopathy. You will find that the more you explain homeopathy to others the better you will understand it yourself. Give a free introductory talk to a small group. This will generate interest and help you become  a recognized person for homeopathy in your community.

These are just a few ideas. Above all make your goals fun. Really enjoy them. Anything we do with joy in our hearts is in line with our creation.  You will be more in your own flow and this will do much to make you a better person and therefore a better homeopath as well. Good luck on your resolution.

May 2009 be the best year ever.

Blessings,  Robert Field

Nice tips !! But one thing I am sure is very effective ; is the flow charts of the medicines & for the diseases . These flow charts are self explanatory & they help the viewer to analyse the process like this chart .

    Hello Dr Prabhat Tandon,

Thanks for the introduction of the flow chart. I can see how it would be helpful in acutes. I have not personnaly developed any or use them. I can see they are an easy way to select a remedy based on simple symptoms. Please send more if they are applicable. Others in our homeopathic community may enjoy them as well. Thanks again,

    Blessings, Robert Field

Can you give tips for restoration of the shape of the eye when it has shrunk due to a trauma and restoration of vision?

Yes I will address this in a future newsletter, Thanks, Robert

I use most of these tips and my kids say that I should talk like MAMA and not a homeopath cause I ask them questions in a different way….lol… a homeopathic inquiry…

Robert what an excellent list to begin the New Year! I’ve certainly found that reading homeopathy; books by Catherine Coulter or Phillip Baily paint a great portriat and that the information really does accumulate and return in pieces and bits of phrases just when you really need it. I love what you said about doing things with joy in your heart… a reminder I “just” happened to need.
For the year to come I would like to see you describe more cases and their follow up as you did with the gentleman that needed Boron.

Thank you putting out this education and most informative newletter.
    All the best
